【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesthegeneraldimensionsandtolerancesofblackhexagonbolts,screwsandnutswithISOmetricthreads,indiametersfrom5mmto68mminclusive.Mechanicalpropertiesareincludedforsteelbolts,screwsandordinaryplainnuts,whichmaybeproducedbyhotorcoldforgingattheoptionofthemanufacturer.Dimensionalrequirementsareincludedforbolts,screwsandnutsfinishedblackalloverandforthosewhichhavepartiallymachinedfinishes.NOTE1Theterm"black"doesnotnecessarilyrelatetotheappearanceoftheproducts,sincethesemaybeofbrightappearanceorblackinthefinishedstate.Thetermimpliesthecomparativelywidertolerancestowhichtheseproductsareusuallymade.NOTE2Nutswithaneffectiveheightoflessthan0.6dorawidthacrossflatsoroutsidediameteroflessthan1.45d,orboth,areexcludedfromthemechanicalrequirementsspecifiedinthisstandard.NOTE3Itisconsideredthattherangeofnominalsizesincludedinthisstandardisadequateformostoftheapplicationsforwhichthisseriesislikelytobeemployedbut,fortheconvenienceofusersrequiringlargersizes,furtherinformationisprovidedinAnnexC.
