【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedasameansforobtaininganextractfromminerocksamples.TheextractmaybeusedtoestimatethefinalpHandreleaseofcertainconstituentsofthetestsampleunderthelaboratoryconditionsdescribedinthistestmethod.ThepHoftheextractionfluidusedinthistestmethodshouldreflectthepHofprecipitationinthegeographicregioninwhichtheminerockisbeingevaluated.Thistestmethodisdesignedtomobilizepotentialcontaminantspresentinthesolids,sothattheresultingextractcanbeusedtoassessleachatethatcouldpotentiallybeproducedfromminerockinthefield.Thistestmethodhasnotbeendemonstratedtosimulateactualsiteleachingconditions.Thistestmethodproducesextractsthatareamenabletothedeterminationofbothmajorandminor(trace)constituents.Whenminorconstituentsarebeingdetermined,itisespeciallyimportantthatprecautionsbetakeninsamplepreservation,storageandhandlingtoavoidpossiblecontaminationoftheextracts.Thistestmethodisacomparativemethodintendedforuseasaroutinemethodformonitoringminerock.Itisassumedthatallwhousethismethodwillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingskillfullyandsafely.ItisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryunderappropriatequalitycontrolpracticessuchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedureforthecolumnpercolationextractionofminerockinordertodeterminethepotentialfordissolutionandmobilityofcertainconstituentsbymeteoricwater.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedtodescribetheprocedureforperformingcolumnpercolationextractionsonly.Itdoesnotdescribealltypesofsamplingandanalyticalrequirementsthatmaybeassociatedwithitsapplication.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
